How to Book
To book with us, simply fill out the form on our Contact page. From there, we’ll send you an order form featuring our full collection for you to browse and select your pieces. If you’d prefer a more hands-on experience, we’re happy to arrange a time for you to visit our shop and hand-select items for your event.
Once your selections are finalised, we’ll carefully deliver everything to your chosen location prior to your event and return afterwards to pick it all up, making the process seamless and stress-free.
Who We Are
The Yard grew from a love of gatherings that feel easy, layered, and personal. I’m Celeste (She/Her), born and raised on the Saanich Peninsula, where celebrations often happen in backyards, gardens, and along the coast. That sense of home, relaxed but thoughtfully put together, is at the heart of The Yard.
Everything in our collection is secondhand and intentionally sourced. From collected china and eclectic cutlery to lace linens, candlelight, and gathered décor, each piece is chosen for its character and ability to layer beautifully with the next. We believe beautiful events don’t need to rely on excess; giving pre-loved pieces another chapter allows celebrations to feel meaningful, welcoming, and a little more sustainable.
The Yard operates on the traditional territory of the W̱SÁNEĆ Nation, and we’re grateful to live and work on this land. Based in Southern Vancouver Island and serving Greater Victoria and the surrounding Gulf Islands, The Yard is here to help you create gatherings that feel warm, intentional, and full of story.
